As the war went on for days upon days, the casualties and corrupted variants numbers started to decline seemingly as soon as they increased. The variants battling the evil had finally won, many hoping this would be the last they saw of the horrible corruption. Zantetsu had amassed a great number of kills on his part, and he had gathered the downed variants’ soul runes for his sickening collection in his den. His body was battered from the few fights he had with opponents on his level of strength, though he always managed to come out on top. Azazel was keeping a very close eye on him, trying to prevent his son from obliterating the population. Under this spell of corruption, even the limiting collar Azazel had created for him was completely powerless. Zan’s son, Shintetsu, was also mildly affected, but his corrupted mind had already cleared. Being only a half nightmare, his ruthless instincts were much easier to control, so he had decided to retreat back to his own den for safety. A

As the war continued, the fog crept over the nearby sea and around a very large ship. The crew members on board soon took notice and immediately raised the alarm. The captain, a very tall aquatic lupax, soon emerged from his quarters, joining them at the side railing of the ship. He squinted down at the fog, his eyes widening as he realized what it was. He shouted his orders to the crew, and prepared a yawl for himself and his strongest crew members. His son, still quite young and hasty, had grabbed his small dull sword and made his way to his fathers yawl, only to be stopped by his large paw. “Now, now…where we are headed is no place for you, Sparrow.” His father said, kneeling down. “But…I just want to help!” Sparrow protested, clutching his sword to his chest. His father, Jack, shook his head and smiled, “Sparrow, I greatly admire your courage and determination, but it is far too dangerous for you. You must stay here on the ship and go with the others to safer waters.” He explained

Paleontology had always been a vast interest of Kira’s from a young age. Coming to the Sunee Region has definitely had its surprises, but being given the ability to excavate and resurrect her own fossil pokemon was so far the best thing about it. Of course the right area was incredibly hard to find, and way out of the way, but it was no matter to Kira. She didn’t trust the researcher’s directions, as she felt it may have been picked clean by the many other trainers seeking the rare and unique pokemon. Kira trekked the rocky outcrops and dusty slopes, fighting off the occasional Trapinch, finally reaching her destination; a desolate plain with no signs of disturbance. Perfect. She released two of her pokemon to assist her; Erebus the large Dark Type Charizard, and Daeger the Dusk Lycanroc. The three of them quickly got to work, searching for any signs of ancient life. Daeger dug up a multitude of bones and treasures, and Erebus blasting the hillsides only to reveal the odd plant fossil
